Bring your four-legged friend and learn basic massage strokes to use with them at home to help relieve stress and tension. Massage is a great way to maintain your best friend's health as well as keep an eye on their ever-changing bodies. Heal provides take-home information and one-on-one instruction. Feel free to bring your dog's bed from home. Space is limited.
Benefits of canine massage include:
Reduces stress and anxiety
Relieves inflammation and joint pain
Strengthens atrophied and weak muscles
Increases range of motion
Strengthens the immune system
Enhances the health of the skin and coat
For prospective volunteers in the U.S. and Canada. You MUST complete this course (online or in-person) before attending a Team Evaluation.

You are REQUIRED to register for this class via the Pet Partners website and course catalog.
Humans who complete this course in person have a higher pass rate at their first team evaluation. The PowerPoint is the same online or in person however the in-person class allows for role playing and asking questions with real time answers.
This presentation will focus on how multiple animals have been spiritually symbolic in Indian beliefs and rituals, specifically in Hindu scriptures and practices. There will also be a focus on the role of dogs in the Hindu belief system.

This 90 minute presentation is designed to orient you to the Pet Partners Therapy Animal Program as a way of volunteering with your pet in your community. We’ll cover requirements and the process for registering with Pet Partners. If any of you decide that volunteering with your animal isn’t a good fit for you or your animal, — we’ll also discuss other ways that you can get involved.

Do you want to know more about Therapy Cats?
This event will provide foundational information on training, registering with Pet Partners, evaluating with Pet Partners, and what real world visits look like. This will be a casual Q&A event with some practice time for cats to visit inside the classroom. You are welcome to bring your potential cat partner, but please be prepared to leave your cat in your car or a carrier for some of the time. (Leashes required at ALL times.)
